The purpose of the society is to research, locate and reclaim abandoned and neglected graveyards in Kings County and give them the care and recognition that they deserve. Some of these burial sites have been found in cattle pastures and woods.
A lot of members became interested during their own research into their ancestry and trying to find the final resting places of their own family members.
